I tried to watch a bit of it. Had to quit. Back to the books...and eagerly awaiting more news, and then the GAMES!

Wonder how much this has to do with the Baylor men's ascension? How can you go "home" to LSU when you, like, never went to LSU? According to Rand McNally and other reputable sources, Baylor is in Texas, which is next to Louisiana. They made it seem like she was coaching Alaska Fairbanks. If she doesn't have a car couldn't she take a bus "home?" Sounds like she pretty much took, with a couple of exceptions, the whole Baylor WBB staff. Now, about the players....

Leave it to my home town paper in Fort Worth to lay it all out as the next step in a saga. This could be a made-for-tv special. Money, ego, power, it would have it all.

Now the opening of her speech makes sense. She was very very big on the admin that just hired her...and that underscores the point that the author of the article makes.

Great "hit" piece. There had been lots of rumors that Kim wasn't getting along with the AD and also that she was deeply unhappy with the plans for the new arena. This puts all that in context. Let's be frank here: there have been times when we've seriously wondered about her mental state. She's an incredible fighter. Yet, most of what she wants to win off the court is unwinnable or against the odds. Great at assessing situations on the court; terrible off the court. Jumping into LSU with its deep sexual assault issues may not have been a wise life move.
