Mock draft. Don't know if Dallas has the guts to do this to a local or pass on her with the 2nd pick. But I've watched a fair amount of tape on Awak, and she's amazing. So much reminds me of Giannis. While I don't watch men's--especially pro--BB, it's hard to ignore the clips of his astonishing athleticism. Awak is that kind of completely freaky athlete, and will draw big crowds. Charli seems more into posing for fashion shots these days.

Davis at #2? Is that warranted? I didn't watch enough of Tennessee, but I do know she is far and away their best player.

ESPN's mock draft has Dallas drafting Collier and Kuier 1 and 2. They can then go on to pick up a good guard at #5.

But Collier, in my eyes, is very up and down. And while Kuier has amazing skills, I didn't get the sense that she plays a disciplined game, at least not yet. As rookies, they are both somewhat projects rather than sure-fire immediate stars. But they will put fans in those TX "what the hell, it's only a flu" stands.

Dallas has a new coach, but Greg Bibb is still their GM and I think they're in for never-ending rebuilding? Charli Collier has been mostly absent during her team's biggest games and I think people are wondering about how willing she is to work, work, work!!! The transition from elite DI WCBB to the WNBA is really challenging! BTW.....both Gabby Williams and Katie Lou Samuelson have been kicking a$$ in Europe and I expect them to both have breakout seasons!! www.fiba.basketball/euroleaguewomen/20-21/news/winners-of-euroleague-women-awards-announced

If you watched any then you watched too much Davis is good but I would pick Rae Burrell, as their best player. They both had some structures and games where they didn't show up, and it may come down to who had the longest stretches. I think Davis was playing stronger at the end of the season.

Aari? Atlanta can have her. Not impressed. 5'6".........I've seen her speeding around the court enough. Good luck Aari and good luck Atlanta.

So much for that. Charli #1 Awak #2 Aari #3 And which of us heard of Aari before the tournament? Well, I'll admit, just a little. Worth the price of admission, we said out here in AZ. I'm not sure how she will make out in the "W" - she isn't tall and she was very streaky. But she is a smart player, has an amazing burst of speed, quick hands and I think she will get a fair shot. We will see.
