I hope it doesn't happen...but I know I'm probably just being selfish.

Don't worry, the players union does not want to see this happen now. You'll see in that article it is said to be no sooner 'til 2026 when it's bargaining time again.

With salaries and limited team sizes/salary caps in the WNBA, I don't know that many would opt to leave early. Injury or economics could cut short a playing career, and it's always good to have a degree in hand when the real world comes calling. We're not talking men's NBA salaries here by any means...

Last week Sue said that endorsements have made a lot of millionaires in the WNBA. Have you noted over the last few years she is at her brightest when she's talking money?

With the wide open transfer portal now, teams may only get one or two years from a player before they decided to mosey on down to where they may find greener grass. Even if the WNBA doesn't change, the women's game may feel similar impacts like the men's game - one or two and done. Just not necessarily a pro destination.

I am interested in knowing how many she considers a lot....I hope it is quite a few, but I can probably count them on two hands. If change on that is coming, that is a good thing!
