A few idiots or trolls are sowing doubt about Geno's coaching, but 90% of the TOBBIES are supporting Geno and calling the idiots out?

HungryHusky99: If he has any class he pulls a Roy William’s tomorrow. Just doesn’t have it any more . Team has been clueless in end of game situations for years , and awfully prepared from the start tonight.
hoopsfan22: Four years in a row, same game, same result, different players. At some point the coaching staff bears some responsibility, doesn't it? If not, then at what point? Whatever the prep routine is for this specific game it is making the players absolutely nuts.
jdb50: Geno 67 yo has had his run. It is time for UConn to have a female be the head coach of the woman's team. Geno can always keep coaching in the men's game if he so desires. I doubt he will be in the local breadline. Time to take on a new challenge.
chindiesel: It's about time for Geno to turn the reigns over to CD.
She knows how to win in 2021 WBB.

And this game a why after losing like this I don’t read message boards. I. Fact I shut it down and move on to the next sports season. Which for me is watching baseball and playing golf.
I’m passionate about UConn women’s basketball but it’s not my life.

Everyone is entitled to his/her opinion. Sometimes we don't win. I just don't know why so many people are so eager to point fingers and place blame. This is a VERY young team. I think Paige way over performed even our lofty expectations. Certainly Aaliyah was a surprise. And Nika? As a foreign player from Europe, it took her a while to adjust to the American game, but she may have been the biggest surprise.
Geno did a great job with this team this year under enormously challenging circumstances. These arm chair coaches and athletic directors are delusional.

I'd say it a little differently. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but that doesn't mean it won't be challenged. Some people act as if "freedom of speech" actually means freedom to speak and not be criticized. No, go ahead and express your opinion, then I will express mine. My opinion might be that your opinion is hurtful, mean-spirited, based on incorrect assumptions, or something else. |

The folks OY should be VERY careful what they wish for. What big G has done will never be duplicated anywhere. I think this year was one of his best coaching jobs. Those guys ARE fake fans, screw them. Thank you players and staff for an amazing season.

Gotta try to get to June when the newbies hit Storrs. That's when the active off-season begins. But for the end this was an exciting, fun season with an amazing Ms. Bueckers smack dab in the middle of it all.

WNBA Season will be starting in a little more than a month and plenty of UConn Graduates, as well as other talented women, will be playing! We might have the 2020 Olympics late this July - early August with women's basketball as well! I also watch women's soccer and the US has 2 games coming up on 4/10 & 4/13........ www.ussoccer.com/all-matches |
