I agree with everything Doggy ! Baylor will have problems with Uconn's ball pressure. In fact, Smith will probably be forced to handle the ball alot in this game. Not her strong suit. Everyone on the Huskies can handle and pass. I expect Baylor to have to drop back quickly on defense, to try and stop Uconn's transition. Then they have to defend Paige, Christyn amd Evina on the perimeter. That's right, no way Baylor wants to run with the Huskies. Problem is, Baylor is used to getting points in transition and 2nd chance points. Poimt spread is Uconn favored by 4. Iowa hit 12 threes and lost by 20. Baylor hopes Huskies are cold and it turns into a slugfest. Ain't happening. huskies are on a roll. Everyone 's been talking smack about Baylor. We all know they were put into Uconn's region to satisfy the anti Uconn sentiment. Well now it's time to PUT UP OR SHUT UP ! Uconn by 6-10 pts.

Great analysis. My main concern is the refs.

How you are not getting paid for this is nuts! This is the best analysis anywhere. Thanks!

Great analysis. My main concern is the refs. Yeah, I agree. What I liked about the S16 game was the refs staying out of it, not that Iowa and UConn gave them much to call. They let them play and the game had a real nice flow to it. That said, if the UConn/Baylor game is one where calls need to be made - and likely the case, I hope for fair reffing....man, is it RAINING outside. WOW ...sorry

WOW ...sorry Refs are staying out of a lot of stuff and not really calling a lot of fouls - and not often going to the monitor for potential "extra" contact. That said, I thought calls continue in some cases to be "odd". While I think in some games there is (unintentional) bias, I would not expect that in your game. I'll agree with whoever predicted an up-to 10 point UConn win. As to the preview's comments regarding height - I too would have said - off hand - that I thought Baylor had too much height for UConn, which turned out to not be true, but my reasons were basically a lack of knowledge: 1 - since I don't follow UConn that closely I didn't actually have any idea of the heights and you are taller than I would have guessed 2 - I surely don't follow Baylor at all, but they have a history of tall star players so I sort of assumed . . . And my Arizona team doesn't have good height so - if they advance - they will be disadvantaged against UConn or Baylor.

Man, that was something, thanks again, again, again. My son was a pitcher from Little League thru his teen years. I dreaded the days he pitched, nothing I could do to help him. Every March it feels exactly the same way, maybe not the first round so much but every one after that. As much as we love em' their is nothing we can do to help them, which makes for a loonngg day. My head say's the analysis is correct, but still. Last year's game really exposed Liv but eventually led to where she is now. Play to what she's good at, which is a lot, and avoid what she's not so good at, which is a low post banger. The high post was invented for her skill set, the low post, well Ms. Edwards can handle that, thank you very much. Less than 9 hours.
