The old coaching rule used to be “if you can’t hurt it further, let them play.” But, I would seriously think about resting Nika and start Anna in her place... or Aaliyah...

Yeah, we are REALLY REALLY going to need her in the Vols game.

Yeah, we are REALLY REALLY going to need her in the Vols game. Assuming we beat 'Cuse, we play the winner of Iowa/Kentucky in the Sweet 16 Winning that, to face Tenn in the Elite 8, Tenn would have to first beat Michigan and then beat the winner of Baylor/VTech.

I think I would go with Aaliyah. Proven scorer - Anna, sadly, hasn't yet shown she is inclined to take more than one or two shots per game. Also, more height might be needed inside with 6'7" Cardoso. I think Aaliyah is better able and willing to bang inside. Liv? Not so much. Okay, CD...this is your challenge. I will turn it over to you.

From the point of view of trying to replicate the kind of offense that starts the game, Anna fits. But she's not been productive. Aaliyah, on the other hand, is frankly playing like an All-American. So from the point of view of productivity, clearly Aaliyah.

I would probably select Aaliyah, but if we get a million tickytack whistles, we'll want to separate Edwards and ONO early in the game.

Great point, swash, about separating them if the whistles blow. At least one of them has to be able to play full out.

I wonder if we will get the same striped fools that have been determining the outcome of games these days?

I wonder if we will get the same striped fools that have been determining the outcome of games these days? I hope there is a review being done of each reffing crew after each game. And the fools who miss obvious fouls do not advance.

Also agree, separate them to start with. Slip Aubrey in help with early rebounding if needed.

Or worse ... invent fouls because it looks like a collision might happen Precisely. The worst kind of foul call.
