Shea Ralph has returned home out of an abundance of caution after a family member tested positive for COVID.

I have been more worried about players. Didn’t really think as much about the coaches.

This COVID and tournament thing is bizarre.

At this rate, Paige may have to show us her rendition of Lenny Wilkens.

Wow. Who is the Grad Assistant this year? They're going to have their hands full keeping track of fouls and minutes ... oh, and the game as well

I hope Shea's family is ok. As for the coaching thing, well, we've got Autumn and you don't. Saylor's Mom is a coach so I'm sure she's got a clue. What's next, locusts? You know what the players are saying. Relax, we've got this.

This could work for the team. The only place they seem to have any sense of normalcy right now is on the court.

You know what the players are saying. Relax, we've got this. Her family, in this context, probably extends only to her husband and little one. I don't know the special rules that are in place, but doesn't it seem like she would have quarantined down there and continued testing unless she expected to miss the whole tournament?

I am going to guess that it is her husband who tested positive. If they don't have family close by, that would put her little one (girl, I think?) at much greater risk being in dad's care only. Hard to social distance with a toddler and only one care giver. Either way, it stinks. Guess some of the student managers may be called into foul tracking duty. I can't imagine CD and Jamelle can handle all that tracking as well as coaching. We have strong leaders on the court. I do not worry about the first game, or even the second game for that matter. Unless....no, not going there. Nope. Nuh uh. No Way.

Time to draft Chassion as an assistant? In the South Carolina game I did notice that she was virtually stuck to the side of Geno's chair in the timeout around the 45 second mark.

Wonder what will happen if the refs make a particularly bad call? If CD goes ballistic, Jamelle can hold her back with ease. If Jamelle goes ballistic it might take the entire bench and managers to keep her from tearing into the ref. The last thing we would need is to have one of them ejected.
