Prospective new members, please take note:
Due to a recent incident, for the duration of the post-season I am putting a hold on approving new members - unless a current member knows the person and can vouch for the fact that he/she is not going to be a troll. We are a place for UConn fans. We will not welcome fans of other teams whose only intent is to belittle and criticize UConn, UConn players, coaches, fans, the Big East Conference, etc. Period, end of story.
If any current member knows of someone who wants to become a posting member please PM me with the user name the new member has registered under and I will review approve it.

However, the endless bashing is not welcome. The troll in question has been persistent in trying to get access again, registering under different names and even IP addresses. So far three times since the banning. (Clearly one who has a deep hatred for UConn.) We don't get a lot of new member requests so this is not likely to prevent any true fans from joining. But, I have far better things to do with my time than monitoring for trolls. |

But also not where you would expect as a most obvious place. |

Apparently some of our guests haven't seen the announcement that no new members would be approved until after the tournament.
New poster wants to join. Name? uconnsunfan. Now, much like punctuation can make the difference (Let's eat Grandma vs Let's eat, Grandma) how you break up the screen name makes up all the difference.
Is it UConn Sun Fan - meaning a fan of UConn and the CT Sun?? Or UConns UN Fan - meaning not a fan of UConn?
I guess we won't know until after the tourney when I start approving new access requests again.

Pending registrations for four new members have now been approved.
To those new members: apologies for not approving sooner. We has some trolls register and we just didn't want to deal with folks who joined only to cause trouble.
I am removing this announcement now.
