ND was short 2 of their top 6 players (Brunelle and Prohaska). They are out because of covid 19 testing/tracing. Pitt was 3 of 15 from the foul line !! Just awful shooting. ND needs their next game desperately. According to Creme, they're the second team out of the NCAA's right now.

Fwiw. Is anyone here following the quiz results on "McGraw's Bench" ? They have a quiz of 10 multiple choice questions, every game, concerning various outcomes during play that day. I wonder how they would react if a UConn fan winds up winning their contest ? ndnation.com/boards/showpost.php?b=mcgraw;pid=87570;d=this

Considering ND could barely withstand Pitt (59-48), I have my doubts that they can beat either FSU or Louisville in their next two games.

Considering ND could barely withstand Pitt (59-48), I have my doubts that they can beat either FSU or Louisville in their next two games. How much will their prospects improve over the next couple of years? They don't seem to be on the "final list" of as many of the top-most prospects than has been the case for a bunch of years. Hard to judge that without really focusing on their recruiting pipeline, and I'm not inclined to spend my time on that, so I only notice when they're on the same list with us. That level finds SCar and Oregon much higher than ND. Baylor, Louisville, MD(!!) and even TN(!!!) are still up there, too. Others may be considered "on the rise" like NCST, TX, Duke, NCar. Olivia Miles was a great get, and having her get her feet wet this season is a bonus, but they'll need more talent around her to get the most value from her passing skills.
