Against Thayer again, had to check to make sure it wasn't a replay from last month, it wasn't. CD4 went for (unofficially, goes without saying) 35 points, 16-28 shooting, 3-9 from beyond the arc. Just like the last game started out hot from 3 land then went cold. 13 boards, 5 assists, 8 steals. Geno made a comment a while ago about going to watch recruits play, that you should, without knowing who they are, be able to spot the recruit in the first 30 seconds based on the way they play and how they are played. Caroline sticks out like a flashing red light. Played exactly like you would expect someone to play who is head & shoulders above everyone else on the court. Caroline will benefit next year from having more skilled teammates, as will the other frosh. It's also possible she could benefit from playing on the same team as Supergirl. Possible, right?

Thanks so much for this! I am so looking forward to next year, though I try telling myself they will be freshmen and will make freshmen mistakes (if they even get their minutes)

Next season is definitely a distraction with the 2021 Frosh. Man, that will make 15 players on the roster. I just can't see that many sticking around.

Next season is definitely a distraction with the 2021 Frosh. Man, that will make 15 players on the roster. I just can't see that many sticking around. No argument about 15 being a lot. But there's a lot of water flowing under that bridge before then. E may not stay, Anna may take longer to recover, other injuries or illnesses are possible... Also, the 2021 kids may take a more traditional development timeline than the 2020 group. Additionally, Piath and Autumn are probably not cracking the rotation until their junior campaign at least. Finally, don't discount the value of the team being in the hunt for a really big trophy this year and next. That has a way of soothing some emotional wounds. I'm just going to enjoy this season until the final nets are cut down. There will be plenty of time to ponder the future after that. That future looks pretty bright from here
