Checking you-know-where, the comments on UConn are predictable, 'cept their amazement that so many freshmen and sophomores are playing so well, not only for us but for South Carolina and what that means for ND. But the patience with their own team has worn thin. This was a pretty powerful analysis; whether or not one agrees with all details. ndnation.com/boards/showpost.php?b=mcgraw;pid=87204;d=thisthe question of conditioning, and comparing the UConn team: 8) Conditioning of our players look terrible. They look slow, sluggish out of breadth. Look at Geno's players. At end of day, that is on the head coach
that's something I noticed when rewatching last night's game. At the end, our guys were sucking a lot less wind than SC's. And Paige looked like she could have played a couple more overtimes, easily.

Noticed in Charlie Creme's updated bracketology that ND was in the "next four out" slot....Imagine ND fans not too happy at all.

Aubrey had a lot left in the tank, too. Liv seemed to get a second wind late. Her final rebound was her most aggressive and will-not-be-denied moment. Christyn, causing that last turnover was quicker than Zia expected when "everyone" was spent

I'm a longtime fan of Amanda Kimball strength and conditioning coach. did anyone notice you get a mention in them recent special about undefeated teams? It wasn't a comment about conditioning it was just about who showed up at the celebration party.

Noticed in Charlie Creme's updated bracketology that ND was in the "next four out" slot....Imagine ND fans not too happy at all. Notre Dame is in charge of their own destiny. At the moment they are 8-8 overall, 6-6 in conference. They have five games left. The one at Pittsburgh should be a gimmee. That leaves four games against NCAA teams. They win 2, and they are over 500 overall and in conference and probably get invited even if they don't deserve it. Two of those opponents are NC State and Louisville which are big hills to climb. If they don't win either of those they have to beat both Syracuse and Florida State. Both games are at home, and they are slight favorites in each game. If they beat Syracuse, Florida State and Pittsburgh, their name recognition probably pushes them to the good side of the bubble. Lose one of those and they probably haven't done enough to deserve an invite.

Well; UConn WCBB Players are typically very well-conditioned and this season is no exception, but Covid can throw a wrench in a player's mindset and I'd give them a break!! I think we're fortunate to be having this season and workouts have been difficult for some heading into the season?? But it's ND........LOL?? I think their damn smiling Leprechaun is out of shape because I haven't seen him staggering out of O'Toole's Saloon lately!!

The bloom is off the rose before the rose opened up. What in the world was MM doing before she quit? Not that I feel sorry for Ivey.
