I just loved the 3rd quarter when Marquette came out in a zone and Paige went bombs away from 3 point range along with Nika!! The 2 of them made Coach Duffy switch back to a man to man defense!!

This starting 5 has really been like tonic to Geno. Like you said that under the hoop pinball wizard shot by Paige was crazy ... to her all in a days work. Loved Geno's presser, especially his explanation of Nika's year so far. Since September she's been shooting lights out in practice. "We'd yell at her if she missed." Getting her to use it is still a work in progress.

Polly gets a kick out of Geno's penchant for saying "really, really", but three of them is going to a new level

When I'm sitting in my rocking chair (which is closer that I'd like to think) this is going to be one of those time periods we will mentally revisit — "remember when Paige was a freshman, and she could really light it up?" Geno's statement "Paige gives them a lot of confidence. She talk to them all the time" needs to be fully appreciated. On the one hand, coaches say something like this all the time, but they are usually talking about their senior leader, maybe an exceptional junior. you may, on occasion, have an exceptional freshman who has a lot of confidence, but Paige is on beyond having confidence, she's the one talking to her teammates giving them confidence. That's not what freshmen do. It's hard to comprehend our exceptional this is.

When you can do something to make Magic's jaw drop, you know you've done something amazing.

Maybe...just maybe; the magic of these moments will make Evina wanna stay 1 more season for Buecker's Brigade Season II......and a second NCAA Title???

I had the good fortune to grow up just about 10 miles from where Julius went to high school, but I was a bit older than he. He wasn't a star during high school and he was about 6' 1" or 6' 2". Then he sprouted up and went to UMass and the rest is history! Watching him play for the Nets at the Nassau Coliseum was simply amazing and you just never knew what he'd do from one game to the next! I was so sad when he went to Philly, but was truly happy he finally won the NBA Title!! www.remembertheaba.com/new-york-nets.html

The chemistry of the players has been exceptional from the get go but now it is translating to the floor more and more. And it is a hoot off the floor. I loved Momma E screwing around off camera at the end of Nika's and Paige's availability.
