Another article - least I don't think it's up here: www.journalinquirer.com/sports/college/uconn_womens_basketball/late-brother-still-inspires-uconns-poffenbarger/article_52efd73e-6613-11eb-9fdb-b375aa9f6b97.html“When she was checking in we were like, ‘Oh, dear. Oh, dear,’ ” Amy Poffenbarger said. “But it was a good situation and having Paige go in with her was nice. I think she makes her comfortable because Saylor knows how good Paige is. Paige is such a great teammate and so easy to get along with. “As a mom, you’re excited anytime your kid is on the floor. But this wasn’t Middletown anymore and this wasn’t playing for mom anymore. When she got ready to go in our phones exploded. The people in town love Saylor and are so supportive because she’s always been willing to give back to the community. It was exciting to see.”

Rats! Foiled by the pay wall! But isn't it great that Geno and CD not only bring us great HS basketball players that turn into great Huskies, but such great kids as well? We are very fortunate fans indeed.
PS - Brender must be a little annoyed I would think - aren't both Saylor and Mir from MD? (heehee)
