I'm working on a post for Doggydaddy's blog. I'm going to look at teams who have done well against Uconn over the years, both all-time and post-Geno. There are some teams who have a lifetime record with more wins than losses against UConn. While one could look at this in terms of winning percentage, I want to look at the teams where the losses minus the wins is the largest number. In other words, 30 wins and 20 losses, which is a winning percentage of .600 is 10 wins over 500 which is better than a team which is 2 and 1, a winning percentage of .667 but only one game over 500.
Can anyone guess, without looking it up, which team has bragging rights for the stat? For what it's worth I could not have answered the question if you asked me but once I looked it up I remembered that I knew this at one time. If you can't help yourself and want to look it up, that's fine, but please don't post here in case others want to try guessing. If you know the answer without looking it up, send me a private message so I can give you bragging rights but give others a chance to guess.

I don't have a clue, but it had to be a Big East team that was once pretty good so I will guess Providence!

Nope
Providence is not a bad guess. UConn holds lifetime bragging rights with 40 wins and 21 losses, but there was a time when Providence had UConn's number. IIRC, Doris Burke was on the team at the time, and talks about looking at the schedule and penciling in UConn is an automatic win. that's understandable. UConn won the first ever meeting between Providence and UConn 68 – 65 back in 1975, then Providence reeled off 16 consecutive wins, five of which were in the Geno era.
