Will she suit up. Geno has pretty much said she won't play.

She is practicing with the team, every expectation she will travel with them as well...

She will probably be the last player in for the foreseeable future. She hasn't earned any minutes yet.

She's barely even PRACTICED with the team. It wouldn't be fair to her to chuck her out there so soon.

IF we see her, think along the lines of a one minute cameo if the lead is big and Autumn and Piath are already in there... and even then ... I still think probably not.

Geno and CD are always trying to manage practices: who shows up, how many for 4 on 4s and 5 on 5s, drills.
At the very least, with Anna out for the foreseeable future, Saylor is a body at practice, and an investment in her future at the same time.

None of us know, but we can all take a guess.
1. She will travel with the team and be on the bench. 2. She won't see any time in this game. 3. She will travel to DePaul on Sunday and won't see any time. 4. Look for her to make her first appearance against St. John's next Wednesday.
Last prediction. She will earn regular minutes this year.

I'm still suspicious but if her 3 ball is pure she could fill the role that KLS played as a freshman, stand out on the perimeter and if we throw it to you shoot, if not just stay there. But I really doubt she plays in anything but most conference games and then only for short stretches. Geno doesn't even know what kind of shape she is in or if she's strong enough. IF if if if......

I'm pretty sure after one practice he found out what kind of shape she is in. Isn't South Carolina the only non-conference game left until the tournament? So you are saying she will play in every game until then except South Carolina? I think she is talented enough to get minutes like McLean gets. The kids got game. We shall see.

I said "most conference games" and most likely a token appearance. I would would be pleasantly surprised if she turned into a 10-15 minute player by the BET. McClean gets rebounds and makes things happen, mostly good. At 6'2" Poffenbarger can shoot over most perimeter players and "making something happen" for her will be 3 pters. The speed of the UConn play has to be huge adjustment for her.

Don't think so. Polly Pulida could have started on that team, and they still would have won the NC. As it was Lou wasn't the sure starter. She got replaced by Gabby, who couldn't shoot from the outside at all, and then by Pheesa, who messed up Stewie's inside game, and finally by Lou again. Geno was just looking for someone who wouldn't gum up the works inside and could pose some sort of outside threat, to keep things open for Stewie. It's an entirely different thing now.

One thing that Geno said about Saylor was that she picked things up quickly! He also said that Saylor did a couple of individual workouts with Shea and we know how attention to detail Shea is! I agree with you that Saylor might just get Mir like minutes shortly, particularly with Anna being out indefinitely! Her 3 point shooting was really good in high school and she wasn't afraid to rebound! It's a whole new level of competition now, but I think she'll get her minutes after the DePaul game???

Have played this a million times since that night, and it still brings a huge smile and a little tear in my eye
