Unbelievable. Reminds me of Rebecca's HoF speech. Thank you so very, very, very much for posting it.

Ok, this old man has tears running down his wrinkly cheeks. She is just amazing. As is Geno.

Thanks for posting this. Been a fan since the 90s. There is only one Nika. She picked the perfect coach for her and he picked a legend.

Wow. What emotional sincerity. It reflects the magical man who is Geno Auriemma and his relationship with and caring for the young women on his team.Hopefully, every potential recruit to UConn watches it.

Aw shucks. to quote John Wayne (can't remember which movie) "That is all. That is enough."
why I love UCONN Women's Basketball, in a nutshell.

A great heartwarming video showing us something we already knew. The love and respect between Coach Auriemma and his players. "You changed my life" what a tribute from Nika.
Sorry, some of the same emotion, but not in the same universe as Lobo's HOF speech.
Nice to see that Geno's belly is bigger than mine!

Not going to lie, I was crying harder than Nika did in the video! Geno's bond with his players is one of the reasons he is the GOAT - not just the rings. He is like a second father (or Grampy) to them, and a wonderful role model. Oops, crying again....

Heartwarming and tough to watch. It's finally hitting me, Nika is really off to the W. Someone a lot more eloquent than me posted a tweet that something along the lines of "How could any recruit or their parent's watch this and not want to be a Husky?" Bleed Blue.

He is like a second father (or Grampy) to them, and a wonderful role model. Oops, crying again.... Grampy - I just LOVE that, and I a long time fan of his since his kids were little and he had hair that he didn't allow anyone to touch!! If you are of the same ilk, it is easy to see the true heart of the man behind the seemingly brash exterior...I never saw it that way, I just found him so REAL. He listens, he reasons, he is a straight talker... ANd that appeals to folks like Nika's parents. He embraced them as well, and her sister and hell her sisters team and all. Some find him off-putting, I find him very real (I said that already). And to my fans who hear me sing at games, I just want to say that once I was at a home game, sitting above the Husky bench, some 10 -11 rows up, and it came time for the National Anthem. and, phil, I did my thing, unabashed and full voice (like usual). And like usual, I wasn't paying attention to anyone around me, I had my hand on my heart and my eyes glued to where there were supposed to be - at the color guard and flag. I sang as I usually do, focused in my own world, not loudly (my voice carries anyway),no flourishes (that's for show offs) and finished. I was about to sit down when I heard a "hey!"..I looked down from where the voice came and it was Geno, giving me the thumbs up. I mouthed "thank you", smiled, and me being me, blew him a kiss. That was my Geno moment.
