I was hoping for a portal player or two, in addition to good health. Santa owes me.

I was hoping for a portal player or two, in addition to good health. Santa owes me. If we just had good health, we should have a NC caliber team. I mean real good health. Like Fudd, Ducharme, Griffin come back to their, what we believe them to be, levels. Now, I don't know if that can happen or not. And we don't really know what El Alfy, Patterson can really bring. But if they are McD AA's types and can contribute (don't have to be great) but can contribute, then we should have a really good team. Arnold and Shade and to a degree Ice picked up some good experience this year. If they along with Samuels can make a nice Soph jump. Things will look good next year. Then the Freshmen. Good class and we should be able to get some help from them. But everything depends on health.

Obviously we are not privy to the medical reports but, from we could see, her condition would scare the crap out of me if she were my kid. Life is short and life is precious. There is no reason to risk a life long debilitating condition just to play basketball for a year or two longer. Make the kid a team manager for the rest of her scholarship period.

Just curious what the risk is for a life long debillitating condition? Yeah, you have no idea. Non of us do. This is her decision based on facts about her condition or lack of a condition after talking to her doctors and family. I want her back because she wants to come back. If she didn't I would support that as well.

If she didn't I would support that as well. She was suffering from hypersensitivity for a very long continuous stretch of time. That is concerning. Obviously, if her doctors give her a thumbs up and she is comfortable with it, she will give it a shot. If it were my kid, I would get at least three opinions and I hope they are. The movie with Will Smith presents what conditions someone risks if they push this too far.
