Great report. Another big would be great, in my humble opinion. But I always think that, so it counts for little. If we had had bigs in place in the last few years..aw, never mind. I'm with Doggy on Jana. I think she will be just amazing and I can't wait to watch! She and Azzi will be our difference makers, I warrant.

Our cup runneth over
And Creme has UConn 4th for 2025. I shook my head reading his article. Once again he has one standard for UConn and another for the rest of the NCAA. I think ESPN and the wcbb media are worried that if UConn dominates then they will lose their audience.
For Texas: ... "Vic Schaefer has two top-10 recruits on the way in 6-2 Justice Carlton from Texas and 6-0 Jordan Lee from California.
For UConn: ..."Bueckers and the Huskies might be back in the championship business, especially if incoming freshman Sarah Strong delivers as the nation's top recruit."
The difference is subtle. Texas has 2 "on the way in" while UConn gets one player mentioned with an "IF" qualifier. Texas's freshmen are ranked 7th & 8th in the country, very impressive and well worth mentioning. UConn's 3 recruits include 3 MDAA's, two Naismith finalists and their ranks are Nos 1, 4 & 18. No 18 was a Naismith finalist. Also well worth mentioning but Creme only mentions one of them.
Creme's articles should be prefixed with a warning: "The following is the opinion of the writer and may have no connection to reality."

The competition next season will be great. IF Koval can contribute and IF Miles can recover her pre-injury form NDame will be loaded, at least with their starters. Texas can be dominant IF Harmon can recover from her 2nd serious injury.
I don't know UConn's non-conf. schedule except Louisville but NCSt, NDame, Texas, SCar sounds reasonable. Texas replaces Tenn as the 2nd SEC team. NCSt & Texas will be at home. I really enjoy winning at SCar & I really really like winning at Purcell. (As long as Arike isn't in the building)
New players: El Alfy 6'6 Strong 6'2 Cheli 6'2 Ziebell 5'10 Take those 4, blend in one pg named Bueckers and then sit back and enjoy.

So helpful and masterful, DD. I just posted the new "org chart" on our offer thread reflecting the 2 open spots.
Geno was quoted after the Iowa "loss" that his biggest coaching error that game was not finding a way to get Q in. I took that as a direct signal to her that he is hoping she's a part of the team next year.

I like starting lineup : Jana -C Strong - PF Paige-- PG Let it play out, and let's see who's healthy--SG ( hopefully Azzi ) Let it play out , and see who's healthy-- SF ( hopefully Caroline ) Too many players returning from injury to know anything before September. Let's make it thru the summer without any pick up injuries ! Get another big in the portal for insurance.
