"She brings to table something UConn hasn't had before that I can remember. A 6'2" forward that plays big and has a great outside game and passes like a point guard."
Maya Moore was only 6'0" but her 1276 rebounds are second only to Tina Charles among UConn players, and her 544 assists (10th all time) speak to her passing ability.
Oh - and she had a pretty good outside game, too. (4th all time in 3-pt FG's.)

Thank you, Doggy! For this and all the other great reports. Thanks to Phil, Spider, and all the others who contribute to this sensational blog. And thanks to our mods for hosting it. It is just superb. I've deliberately not been reading things (except for Sarah stuff!!!!!) since "the loss." But I do read Doggy because I know I'm not going to get mugged with some senseless blame game. As I fan I don't need to belabor our losses and point fingers. And Doggy won't do it either and I really really appreciate that.
Very interesting on the portal too.

It’s fans like you that motivate me to spend so much time every day putting my blog together. Next year is going to be a blast!!

He posts it on another site specific for bloggers, which is technically where it is hosted. We do, however, eagerly and gratefully let him post the links to his blog here, unlike a few other places. I hope we are good “hosts” in that sense. I want to thank DD for his efforts. I know it must take hours to compile, and to do it everyday during the season is truly a labor of love. Thanks to Phil for his astute analysis during the season. Some of it goes over my head sometimes. Complex statistical analysis is beyond what my puny brain can absorb. But I always learn something. And Spidey is a nice addition. Fascinating to see how the teams matched up after the game. DD, you have our grateful permission to take the summer off. I know every year you consider if you want to continue into the next season. That choice is yours. It’s not like you lose any consulting fee income from us. But speaking for myself, when the comes you decide to retire your blogging keyboard, I will miss it very much.

Yeah, I know you guys don't Host. But you seem to welcome his links and encourage us to discuss ideas he brings to the table. So that is very much appreciated!
