The Athletic (paywall? I dunno) has an article about universities with both women's and men's teams in the final four. This year, of course, there are two. They list all the schools that have done this. No one has done it more than once, except...this is the FIFTH time UConn has! We are frustrated that UConn's football program can't bootstrap the other sports into a better conference. But no New England school--public or private--has a Power 5-level football program. It's just not where resources are allocated or traditions established or whatever. But UConn has made the best of it, with an incredible tradition in a sport that costs a lot, lot less and is infinitely less dangerous to players or problematic to administrators. http://instagram.com/p/C5PpD5ksD4_
