Wow, I can't see her leaving...but there are lots of players, that's for sure.

Wow, I can't see her leaving...but there are lots of players, that's for sure. Interesting. I can't see her staying unless this season is interrupted by more injury woes, which we certainly do not want. Here are my reasons to leave ... in no particular order: - She's already older than many Seniors
- If she plays this season, she'll get plenty of limelight. If the Huskies struggle, she'll be the elder stateswoman, bringing the kids along. If the team is fantastic, she'll be the leadership glue that pulled them together
- She is a better fit in the W than many scorers, who get converted to PG. She has size and athleticism, and will now be coming out of UCONN ... which will have GMs licking their chops for another Crystal or Napheesa
- The 2021 draft class is currently estimated to be softer than the last few
- She'll see the writing on the wall for the youth movement
- She will have already completed her degree, so the scholarship is "worth less" to her
- Begin earning a salary, live on her own
- Achieve her dream to play professionally
- With her knee issues, there may be a limited number of years to play professionally
Reasons to stay: - Coaching is great, but will also be great in the WNBA
- Chance for a 2022 NC ring, but roughly one in 12 draftees will have another kind of ring
What have I missed?

Yeah, you are probably right. I think Meg made a huge mistake in leaving. So let's see how she looks this year, and how much rust has accumulated. The following year she'd be in the pool with Squeaks and Liv.

swash, too smart for me. I completely don't get the " roughly one in 12 draftees will have another kind of ring."

swash, too smart for me. I completely don't get the " roughly one in 12 draftees will have another kind of ring." One WNBA team will win it all. It isn't really even, but every winner seems to have at least one rookie. The rest of the top teams do, too. Since almost nobody knows what team will pick which player, which will go the distance, who will make a strong roster, or who may make the jump and contribute... I chose to call it roughly one in 12, the number of teams.
