Watching other Women's games I have noticed many players wearing protective mouth guards but never noticed anyone on UConn using. Wondering why. Perhaps they are not really as protective as they look?

Mouthguards make it much harder to communicate. As much as UCONN talks on defense, I doubt any of the players would want to wear them. Don't think that the coaches would forbid it though. IDK, maybe?
