I love it. Who does Napheesa remind you of? A bigger Swin? Who can also play guard?

Yes, that was my question too...

KLS, super long reach. Lefty righty hooks. Puts the ball on the floor very well. She is a tiny bit shorter than Breanna but a much better shooter. Sort of like adding a Breanna but keeping KML. Is she still shooting threes at a better clip than KML? Of course having them together makes them even better.

I think the op is saying that Collier will be like Stewart in skills.
Has any any recent video of Collier been posted?
edit: oops.....guess he was talking about Katie Lou.....confusing

Sweet! Three Breannas:)). Geno has gone to a higher level of heaven without having to pass away. Now, all he has to do is hide his gleeee:).

It looks to me like a bunch of teams are improving for next year. Especially Louisville, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Baylor and S Carolina. UConn still will clearly have the most talent.

I don't see the resemblance between Stewart and KLS. Different skill sets.

I don't see the resemblance between Stewart and KLS. Different skill sets. Stewie is shooting 28% from the arc this season. I expect to see Lou shoot over 40% next year, maybe 48%.

It's not the first time you (DD) and I see things very differently. I see KLS as a slightly shorter Breanna with KML built in. Both KLS and Stewie have a million ways to score, lack Chamique's speed, are slender, and have great shot blocking skills. KLS appears be a better shooter than my beloved KML. I'll try to get a note from Geno.

Next year is going to be an amazing season...so many teams, so many stars. A great class is coming in, plus DDS comes back on the scene. I hope we can schedule lots of OC games so we can come up against all these guys. I'd LOVE To see us play UT next year. Delicious.

I have never heard or seen that Samuelson has great shot blocking skills. And Stewart is not only taller but with her great arm length she is much longer as well.
Stewart has always been a forward/center type player. She has never been known as a great shooter, just a great scorer. Samuelson is a great shooter in the KLM mold. She is going to play the forward/guard position at UConn.
I don't get the comparisons of players all the time. It seems like a silly exercise to me. Each players has their own virtues that we can enjoy.
Who is Chamique? Holdsclaw? How does she fit into this conversation?

I don't see the resemblance between Stewart and KLS. Different skill sets. Killjoy! Actually, I agree with you as of now. Stewie has substantially greater athleticism, but I suspect Lou will "train up" nicely.

I was using Chamique to show that neither Stewie nor KLS were there because of their lightning speed. KLS? You will see her long wingspan at forward causes defenses to alter their regular shots. KLS is so long and shoots so high she'll score like crazy. They'll play together and complement rich other. I said. 'Sort of like adding another Breanna'. Together, they will put great match up problems on offense and defense because they are dominating pressure pointers. I clearly wasn't saying they were identical. You think you are right more? Gasp!! Bless you. My dog is tougher , too;). I'm cool with it.

I just saw this and liked it. I think it was Semper. >>I was just looking at Doggy's Lou preview over on the Dailies and watching the clips. Then I started to think about Stew and Lou in combo next year. Can you imagine how great this will be once Lou gets acclimated? Then Morg and Mo of course, and the other greats, Kia, Gabby, Phee, I know, I know...lots of BBall to play in this great year! But it will almost be like having two EDD's on the team at one time. I pray there are no injuries, as this is going to be amazing. But what we have is amazing too. I wish there were more games this month. That's the hardest thing about this season the post SCAR blues...such a high, and then, well, not much.<<

I think I forgot to mention how good they both are with their back to the basket near the hoop. They both own those little flips and hooks under the basket. Very few can stop those extended arms. Morgan can do that as well. Griner can defend that but there aren't many of her. They can both pass out of that spot as well.
