Here is my conspiracy theory - and yes, I have my tin foil hat on (maybe).
I think Bill and Hillary encouraged Trump to run (they were friends, they even went to one of his weddings..)thinking he would split a bunch of primary tickets, and cause some implosions on the GOP ticket. If they didn't encourage it, they sure weren't worried by it.
They thought he would retire to the Apprentice to lick his wounds and bellow, finally emerging to endorse his old pal Hill, rather than whatever "loser" (so D Trump would call him) beat him for the GOP nomination.
Much to their surprise and consternation, the Frankenstein monster not only lived, he spawned followers. Proving the devil you know, you may not really know after all. He may be much, much worse.
And Hillary has done herself no favors with her campaigning and ah, lack of transparency.
Now we are all facing (at least my) idea of electoral Armaggedon. Lose/lose does not even begin to cover it.
Pray for this nation. Please. We are all going to need it.

I pray that you are able to see this election not as lose/lose, but rather as lose/lose unimaginably big, and that you are able to live with the consequences of your choice, whatever it may be.

I hope we can ALL live with the consequences of whomever we choose! The only thing worse than voting and making a bad choice, is not voting at all, and leaving our fate to the decisions of others.
My vote is my own, and I am not saying who I will be voting for. I am just saying that there is seven long weeks until Voting day, and we all should be paying very close attention.

And BTW - every last word right ? Well **** you too. I expected no more from the hypocritical left, and I got what I expected. Trump has nothing on the Clintons for dishonesty and lack of morality. Jeff Bezos and his hired guns at WAPO and the Soros sponsored NY Times would sell even more birdcage liners if they did some legitimate research on the Clinton Foundation, or Whitewater, or Benghazi, or the e-mail server.

So, independent analysis indicates that Trump lies more than 4 times as often as Clinton - Clinton has released 40 years of tax returns, Trump none - Clinton has gone through 8 Congressional Republican-led hearings, as well as extensive FBI investigation, and Trump hasn't - Clinton's charity foundation has an A+ rating, generating hundreds of millions for healthcare, worldwide, with no criminal charges, while Trump's charity has been found guilty of improper use of funds, with other charges pending - and you thing Trump has nothing on the Clintons when it comes to dishonesty? You are either a complete idiot or wearing blinders that would fit Secretariat.

I think this is an approved Alinsky tactic. And don't use the FBI investigation as a cover. This would be the same FBI and Justice Department reporting to Obama that failed to note that he participated in the emailing to and from an unsecured server using a pseudonym. Can't indict your boss, can you ?

Can't indict your boss, can you ? I'm not sure anybody who uses "**** you, too" in their opening sentence or so has any room to complain about name-calling. Particularly since your chosen candidate does more of that than just about any major candidate - heck, perhaps more than ALL the major party candidates - in modern history. Classic Trump-style defense - accuse your opponent of something that you are very, very guilty of.

Don't be obtuse - read the article. OP specifically states "every word". Nice obfuscation.
I'll bet you're one of those 1st Amendment liberals - all for free speech unless someone disagrees with your point of view.

Could not have said it (nor would I have dared) the way he does. But he is completely correct. There is not even a comparison. The man is a very dangerous demogogue. I still can't believe he is the nominee for a major party and that anyone with any sense would consider voting for him.
I wish there were something I could do to help defeat him.

I have the same feelings for anybody who votes for Clinton. (However, I have the same feelings for anybody who votes for Trump too.) We are totally screwed either way. The only silver lining is that we probably won't have to put up with 8 years of either one like we've had to do with Obama. IF Trump wins, I figure he'll get bored and step down after a couple years, if he lasts that long. IF Clinton wins, her medical problems will hopefully cause her to have to step down in a couple years. IF either one manages to make it to the 4 year mark, they are both so horrible we should be able to run a dead monkey against either one and beat them. At least that's what I'm holding on to, otherwise this election is tooooo depressing. And NOPE, I'm not voting for either one of them. Might write myself in. IDK, maybe Geno.

Nah, sorry. There is NO comparison. That's the biggest thing Clinton voters miss, she's as bad as Trump. Really the same with Trump supporters. People are so busy seeing the evil that they oppose, they miss it in their own candidate. They are both horrible, horrible candidates. Probably horrible, horrible people too. I don't know them personally (nor do I want to), but it sure seems that way.

I don't know them personally (nor do I want to), but it sure seems that way. disagree strongly - just because both candidates are flawed, perhaps significantly so, doesn't mean they're equivalent. That's a bit like saying that a double-A centerfielder is the same as Mike Trout, because they're both professional players. They're not the same - one is far, far more qualified to play the outfield than the other. By relevant experience, Clinton is far, far more qualified to be President. By independent analysis, Trump is far, far more dishonest. Clinton has disclosed far, far more information about her taxes, her charitable foundation, and her personal life. Trump is, undeniably, far, far more bigoted and prejudiced. And, there's an overwhelming preponderance of evidence that Clinton is far, far more adult in temperament and communication. One of these candidates is a highly experienced, highly examined, fully-vetted person with weaknesses. The other is a petulant bully, a spoiled child of privilege, with arrested development at a 5th-grade level. And, given the commentary by Trump and his primary surrogates, there's more than a small helping of old-fashioned male chauvinism underlying much of their objection to a Clinton presidency - just as recent comments and actions by official Trump campaign designees , and elected Republican state office-holders in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana make it irrefutable that old-fashioned racism underlies much of their resentment of President Obama.

As much as I am not a Hillary fan she and Trump are nothing alike. The media has done a great job creating false equivalencies.

Every last word.
The Republican nominee for President.
A self-described sexual predator.
The 6-year-old girl turned to her mother and asked, “What does it mean to grab somebody by the p---y?”
Rachael MacIsaac Parker thought she had misheard her daughter. “What?” she recalled responding. “What do you mean?”
Then she saw the television screen. “You know, I’m automatically attracted to beautiful — I just start kissing them,” Donald Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, was saying in a 2005 recording. “It’s like a magnet. Just kiss. I don’t even wait.”
Fame gave him power over the opposite sex, Trump was bragging to Billy Bush, then the host of “Access Hollywood.”
“Grab them by the p---y,” he said, caught on a hot mic. “You can do anything.”
Proudly said he could walk in Beauty Pageant dressing room whenever he wanted. "We were all naked"
Tells Howard Stern it's okay for Stern to call his daughter "A piece of a$$"
This all came out Friday after Trump proclaimed that the Central Park Five were in fact guilty even though all were exonerated by DNA evidence and the actual rapist confessed to the crime. But hey, they're just people of color, like the Mexican rapists and the Muslims who are all terrorists. Who cares what Trump says about them, right? They'll never vote for him anyway. Friday's tape is a whole different ballgame. Why? Because he's talking about assaulting white women. All the hypocritical Republican leaders finally discovered a line that Trump has crossed. Many white women, mostly suburban married white women, vote Republican. That trend is now at risk so McCain, Ryan and others are now worried and they should be.
There are reportedly more Trump tapes. Oh goody...
