Superfan who was banned from their site and now posts under a different name says this about the portal players Tennessee signed - "The biggie was the former 2022 SEC freshman of the year Samara Spencer, All-ACC freshman Alyssa Latham, and ESPN Top 100 #30 recruit Lazaria Spearman. Three skilled players with P5 experience that fit Coach Caldwell’s system and are SEC talents." So, how did they actually play last year? Spencer is a good guard. But one more short (5'6") guard. She averaged 13.9 PPG 4.6 RPG and 3.5 APG. 33.6% from the field, 26% on threes. 115/95 Assist/TO Ratio. Alyssa Lathem is a 6'2" forward. 8.6 PPG, 7.0 RPG, 46% from the field, 28.6% on threes, 21 assists, 70 turnovers. Lazaria Spearman is a 6'4" forward. ON the slim side, she averaged 6.3 PPG, 6 RPG, 50% from the field. 1-5 on threes. 14 assists, 40 turnovers. Good additions. But seriously, this guy should just tone it down. Tennessee has also now added Ruby Whitehorn, a 5'11" (finally a tall one) guard from Clemson. She averaged 12.3 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 1.6 APG. She had 51 assists and 103 turnovers. She shot 46.4% from the field and 27.5% on threes. Four new players in total averaging under 30% on threes and 201 assists and 308 turnovers. And their coaches new offense is run run run. More turnovers. To win they need to be succesful with their 100% pressure defense (it's what their coach does) and turn teams over more than they turn it over. They will be somewhat successful against weak opponents but not against good teams. It could get ugly.

The incredible Coach Jumper - “ If Wynn adds a jumper, works on her three and learns to finish a proper layup,,,she will truly thrive in this system and could explode this year”.
Seriously? Is that all this player has to do?

Is that all this player has to do? IF a freshman flute player in the UConn pep band can learn to dribble, pass, and shoot at an elite level, she could be a factor as a walk-on at UConn next season. IF Aubrey can increase her three point accuracy by 50%, UConn will be favored to win it all, and she'll be a top 5 pick in the W draft. IF wishes were horses, beggars would ride
