Nah, she should blame her clothing designer. Bland green and no sparkles? What was she thinking! She had the wrong holiday. St. Pat's was a couple weeks ago. She needed something pink, maybe an Easter bonnet. Maybe she had on some sparkly "tiger" underwear that couldn't be seen, but there was narry the sign of tiger anything in her attire. Rather disappointing, honestly.

I'm sure that Kim spent more time with the LSU PR team than she did with her own team the last couple of days. Dress professionally, smile a lot, and talk graciously about your opponent. Wasn't easy for her, and she'll come unravelled again next year, but she had to avoid further damage with portal season here. LSU is all set to announce a big portal get.

I want Reese to foul out. Am I evil? She just did! Lovin' it! I'm loving it too, but I feel a little bad because that wasn't a good call. It wasn't a game-changer though

I think the Kimster read the WP article and decided to tone it down and not look like such an idiot all the time. I was thinking that her special delivery from her personal designer didn't make it thru the security scan due to excessive sequins.....

But Kim is wearing Irish green tonight? This was a much needed LOL moment during a really crappy day at work. Thanks for sharing it. "A live ocelot on her head". That, combined with the visual of sparkly tiger underwear has me rolling.

Some poster on some tweeter thread suggested that HVL has actually hurt her game and her professional prospects by portalling. She's played out of position all season and got completely torched tonight. I admit to a bit of Schadenfreude for her and Morrow. Not just because it's LSU (though that does matter). I'd like coaches to appreciate that team chemistry among superstars doesn't always happen, and that, despite Aristotle, the sum of the parts can be greater than the whole. Not a good look heading into the draft....

Any speculation on what Angel Reese will do?
I saw a portion of her post-game. It is flat out wrong for anyone to make death threats or threats of physical harm against any other person. Period. But as far as people ridiculing her for her look and how she puts herself out there in public? If you go out of your way to draw attention to yourself, be prepared to deal with the positive as well as negative feedback. Calling yourself "Bayou Barbie", taking photos of yourself wearing a crown, etc. simply draws attention and not all of it will be positive. So while I have no doubt that she has struggled with some of the negative blow back to her display of individualism put out on social media, I am sympathetic only to a point. When it turns from "Look at me" to "I am a victim because I don't like the way some people look at me", I get stuck between sympathy and what did you expect would happen?

Speaking of Angel Reese, did anyone else notice that her usually long, painted nails were much shorter - and unpainted? Perhaps there actually is an NCAA rule that was enforced for the tournament regarding nail length like the jewelry rule that forced Hannah Hildago to the bench for what was likely a painful process?

I really don't like Angel Reese. And I really, really, really don't like Kim Mulkey. But Mulkey's suspension of Reese earlier this year might have been a bit of tough love. Angel has her whole life in front of her and has a great opportunity to turn her celebrity status into something that works for her in every way. I really hate to say this, but Kim might have helped her out.

She has disrespected opponents very publicly. She has celebrated her earnings wildly. Of course there would be some blowback. It is hard to get behind someone whining, "Woe is me. I've pulled myself from a broken background to wealthy and famous in a couple of years, and I ... I've lost a game." Life is a challenge. Public life even more so. If all she says ... and implies ... is true, ... Well nobody should have to live through that. But she has a financially secure present, and an excellent chance for a wonderful future. Hopefully, she will learn to be herself without the need to denigrate others. To find a space to use her voice for good. And to live a long, healthy, and happy life. These are things we all need to learn as we become adults. Some get it earlier, others never do. She's a smart kid.

My life right now is a complete Sh!t show - home and work. If I were in the public eye and having to deal with my challenges publicly, and have the complete emotional breakdown I just had an hour ago here, at my desk, in the office, splattered all over X, Instagram and the like and have people think this is how I always am, yeah, that would be pretty unfair. So, I will apologize to Angel for my unkind words and harsh judgements. Doesn't mean I have to like her, but life can sometimes be humbling. And sometimes we lose perspective that what we see externally sometimes does not always reflect the strength courage that lies underneath, and external behavior is simply a struggle to work through some pretty terrible things the best way we can.

+1 to what chicagogg said. I know so many people who are planning their exit from work because they have to be back in the office. Having been away from it, they realize what a toxic environment it can be. Hope it gets better until you can get out.

Actually kind of nice to be away from the chaos at home. But at work I am going through a reorg where no one knows the totality of what is going on and the impact as a whole. Most especially to the people involved. The IT side is making decisions on how they want to organize the work, and the business side has no real clue and are just plugging people into spots without knowing the IT specifics beneath. Let's just say with regard to the reorg, business and IT are reading the same page, but in entirely different books. I guarantee if IT is reading page 225 in Moby Dick and business is reading page 225 in a Stephen King book, nothing will make sense. Making decisions in a vacuum is a recipe for chaos.

Chappy, you have my sympathies. toxic work environs suck. I retired several years ago, as soon as I was financially able, and I think if I hadn't, I'd be dead or in jail by now. kill or be killed! I look at my dr. license pic from 3 years before I retired and then the following year had it taken again. Four years older, and I actually look younger. It was a sobering lesson, yes it would be financially easier had I stayed, but the stress was killing me. Every day wondering what new fresh hell was in store for us. The really scary part of that was that I had a wonderful manager. Which trust me, was Very unusual. You have my prayers, too. Hang in there. We here on the board appreciate you.
