Over the last several years 31-34% of UConn's fg attempts were 3's. Geno has talked a lot about finding open 3's for Bueckers, Fudd & Ducharme. (BFD) Today about 50% of UConn's shots were 3's. In the PG Geno said that 30 was about right. (65fg attempts- 32 3's) And that's against a team with no inside defense against UConn today. Individually, BFD will have ups and downs from game to game but not all of them in one game and not that often for any of them. It's showtime.

I would like to see Caroline at least in the mid 30’s percentage wise from 3 this year.

BFD = Big Effing Deal!! bwahahahah Actually I didn't see the alternate to their last names and arranged them by what sounded best. But I'm taking credit anyway.

I would like to see Caroline at least in the mid 30’s percentage wise from 3 this year. I'd expect to see 40%+. With a choice of shooters the % of good looks will be high. But more importantly, BFD will each have games when they go 6-7. The 3pt shooters that can do that are rare and UConn has 3 of them this year and they are not only unselfish but know each others' games.

When a team doesn't have too many solid three point shooters, it's possible to concentrate on the main three point shooter if her name isn't Clark. When you have three options, double teaming them all doesn't quite work out.

When you have three options, double teaming them all doesn't quite work out. Especially when you have an efficient 4 like Edwards who is virtually unstoppable inside vs single coverage. Brady could provide another option. Geno had her penciled in at the high post in the summer of 22. Imagine Brady with the ball, Edwards working down low and BFD roaming the arc.

I was a little shocked when Geno said that the offense was great. He also said in essence that when Bueckers is on the court the offense runs like a Swiss watch. He went on that they have been spending most of the time working on defense, which showed Sat. I think UConn's defense will not get the attention that the offense will but if it's at the level I think it it will be then it's just one more reason to take 8-1 on UConn winning it.

They are like a Swiss watch with Beuckers on the floor. It's a huge change.

They are like a Swiss watch with Beuckers on the floor. It's a huge change. Well, at least it's not just Aaliyah that you're spell-shaming. Hint to a high tech guy: when the little red dots appear under a word, it's misspelled!

Reminder for all, not just Audreyfan (yes, intentional)
Bueckers (not Beuckers)
Aaliyah (two As at the start, h at the end)
Qadence (no U, and while she does dance, it isn't part of her name - I have been guilty of misspelling her name)
Ines (not Inesh or Inez)
Spelling names correctly matters.
