So, I'm six hours earlier here in Kauai. Is the event on TV that I can get on the interweb?

Sounds like the wrist surgery was not the best.

Well, we may not have been able to watch but Cox got to see a full house as people were turned away at the door.

Tuck didn't play in the scrimmage. Minor hamstring issue and no need to risk it tonight. Sounds smart.
Hope the Butler thumb injury isn't serious. It's not her shooting hand but a serious injury would keep her out regardless.

First Night is settling into a show for the students as perhaps it is best suited to be. I found the mixed women/men show to be mostly awful. The highlight of the worst defense in America was a patented Nurse drive to the basket that Brimah swatted with force knocking Nurse to the ground and Nurse's subsequent reaction to the play.
Typical of the play of Collier is that ball finds her. She anticipates very well. She had eight points on put backs basically. I was disappointed in not getting to see Butler play and to compare her progress to the player I saw in practice last year. Based on only seeing Gabby play I still think Gabby is the fifth starter and her outside play reinforced that guess/opinion.

Wish I could of been there but sounds like a great night. Uconn hockey won their home opener 5-1 at XL, first night, home coming for football tomorrow.
It's always good but today it's Especially good to be a Husky.

Does Cox's smile seem a bit effortful?

Does Cox's smile seem a bit effortful? About as much as Irwin. I'm not sure if any conclusions can be drawn from either.

We turned fans away from a practice, that shows what Uconn offers.
she will make the decision that's best for her. Now it's just all speculation.
