A Vol fan on Volnation explaining why Cox will not go to UConn solemnly presented UConn's starting 5 for this year: "Geno will more than likely use a lineup of PG-Dangerfield, SG-Nurse, SF-Samuelson, PF-Tuck, Center-Butler/Boykins. he has a habit of being very hard on his freshman as well." No one, including linkster, was cruel enough to correct him/her. Man, this is a team for the ages. The POY for the last 2 years doesn't start. I'm lovin' it.
This is why I lurk there. It's so damn funny ... yeah, funny peculiar.

Dangerfield. Wow, doesn't even know what year she's in! Maybe he thinks that Stewie graduated and is in Seattle.

Does look kinda nice for 2016-2017 though.

I took that post to be referring to 16/17. But there are other comments in that post that were really hard for me to ignore.
1) After reading all summer about how Russell was the second coming of Bill, now all of a sudden Cox, according to the poster, would rather compete for minutes with her rather than Butler. That poster then goes on to put Stewart, (who mysteriously gets to play another year), Tuck and Samuelson at the 4. All these are supposedly going to scare off Cox. Never mind that even if Tuck stays she is gone after Cox's freshman year, that Samuelson will more than likely be a wing player. And more importantly they completely ignore Collier and Williams, both of whom are legit candidates at the 4.
But there's more.
The poster goes on to Notre Dame where they have Cox starting at the 5 because Reimer is "is better suited at the 4". The next line has those 2 playing with Turner, who I can only guess has been moved to the 3. Never mind she has no outside game.
But I saved the best of that post for the last.
"I think if she wants to win it all and have a chance at multiple titles she should come to Knoxville."
So of the 3 schools, Tenn, ND & UConn, Tenn is the best bet for a championship? It was at that point that I realized that the poster was obviously deranged and I have a rule against attacking the sick.

After reading this thread, I dropped in on Volnation.
I now have to shower and do some serious meditation to cleanse myself physically and spiritually.
That, there, is some twisted spit.
We should all just say 'no' when it comes to that cesspool.
