Must be why the full schedule hasn’t been released. I don’t ever remember the full schedule not being out this late. TV scheduling? Facility availability?
Of course, the subject line of this thread is sarcastic.
I am sure it isn’t easy, but this is getting ridiculous.

Wait, did the Big East schedulers portal out to bayou bakery land with their unlimited cupcake fringe benefits package? Even the music has died.... Bye bye Miss American pie.....

It is weird that the schedule is not out. I thought yesterday was the day.
And I found myself wondering if they decided to delay the announcement because of the news about Georgetown’s coach.

Something about the pep band not having the funding necessary to travel for basketball or hockey.

Something about the pep band not having the funding necessary to travel for basketball or hockey. But the entire marching band for football is fully funded? Is it because of the immense revenue football generates? To me it sounds like when local school boards have shortfalls and announce that football and basketball will need to be cancelled. If they cut the library very few would care.

Maybe Flohoops is playing hardball with ESPN? Or the other way? Last year's FF ratings have made ncaa womens basketball more than an afterthought.

Maybe with UCONN healthy again (knock on wood), they've just decided, what's the point? Just give UCONN the trophy and move on to the BE Tourney.

Pac 12 announced their schedule today. admittedly, a 2-team conference is the essence of simplicity when scheduling

With the season just about 39 days away, they can't keep this up much longer..... ..... I'm tired of waiting....

Does UConn have room for another game this season? I ask because delays to deadlines usually involve the top of the organization. I would not be surprised if ESPN was trying to get a UConn-LSU game added. ESPN is hyping LSU as the super team and Geno-Kim matchups have provided some of the best wcbb games in recent years. Speculation.

Nonsense. They had an easy opportunity to add LSU/UConn at a neutral site and it didn’t happen. That game won’t be played this year unless it is in the tournament.

But who owns the rights to the Cayman Island games? And how many people fit into their arena? Again I'm speculating based on nothing but it's possible that both UConn and LSU said that if they play then both teams need to be paid.

It is ridiculous that it is taking this long to finalize the schedule. Is it tv broadcast schedules holding it up?

It is ridiculous that it is taking this long to finalize the schedule. Is it tv broadcast schedules holding it up? At least the Big East ought to announce that they're going to announce something by a certain date. Where's the consideration for season ticket holders and those planning to buy individual tickets?
