I always cheer when Tennessee loses and rarely, if ever, root for them to win. But they play LSU tonight, and I think it is time for an LSU loss. Still, I can't quite bring myself to actually hope that Tennessee wins. But I don't want LSU to win either. What to do? I guess hope for Kim to have one of her patented tempertantrum, jacket-throwing fits, get a technical, maybe even ejected and then hope that one team or the other wins by one point in quadruple overtime with all starters fouling out.
Too much?

I am swallowing hard and hoping the Puke Pumpkins win. I am really sick of Kim's machinations. And if they win they it makes our victory look even sweeter.

Too much? It would be nice if everyone fouled out but of course that's impossible. (When there is one left, who can they foul?) Moving from the impossible to the merely ridiculous, imagine that in quadruple overtime and up and fouled out that they are down to two players one on each side, and the score is tied. I don't think the game can continue. With two players on one team you can inbound the ball, but you are allowed inbound to yourself, so when you try it will be a violation and a turnover and if the other team has one player will be in a never-ending loop with no time coming off the clock. The NCAA rules explicitly allow again to continue if only one player is left on one team (not in all cases but under specified conditions) but I don't think they addressed (understandably) the situation where both teams are down to a single player. If the game is tied I think they would declare it a no contest. Maybe if were are lucky they would declare it a double forfeit.

My wife asked me this one I explained my own dilemma. She pointed out that I definitely wanted LSU to lose, which is true but does that trump wanting Tennessee to lose? I don't think so.
Part of me wants to give up caring about Tennessee. It's understandable when both teams are strong, but now that Tennessee is down on their luck, it almost seems churlish to treat them like a rival. That ship sailed years ago. I will drop it if the Tennessee administration officially apologizes for their actions but we all know that's not going to happen.

I will root for Tennessee. Harper has class. And we whipped them so it would really show up Kupcake Kim. Would be fun to see Ego Reeses in pieces. If you look at Massey top 4 giving plus for each win by every team beaten and minus for every loss by every team lost to, which doesn’t necessarily tell you how good you are but shows what you have accomplished, you get South Carolina 269, UConn 264, Stanford 263, LSU 218.

Too much? I'm hoping the pathetic pumpkin puke vols (PPPV) can somehow pull this off and I'm about to seriously barf just thinking about it? My flawed logic is that LSU should be punished for their atrocious schedule and I want it to happen in their sold out bayou bakery. That'll shut up Mulkey for awhile and it'll get the PPPV team and fans over-confident; that's so easy to do. Then South Carolina and, maybe another team, will punish them as they so deserve. LSU will also lose to SC and my desire is maximum punishment for as many P5 SECreme favorites as possible...... ....see, i told you my logic was flawed; just like the LSU schedule, the PPPV fan base and their coaching staff.

Who knows how good LSU is? No one. They have never been tested and escaped playing SC twice.

I wouldn't; they'd slaughter me ..... BTW....Mulkey's new book is out in comic book form: "Cupcakes For Snowflakes" 101 easy recipes for those who fear a challenge.

I liked the recipe with creme frosting. it was light and fluffy.

Tenn shooting substantially worse than LSU and yet staying close. And beating them badly on the boards.

What happens when LSU plays an even half-way decent (unranked) team. Reese with 4 points and 3 rebounds.

Tennessee needs Horsten to play a lot better to pull this one out.
