Today (9/30) Marks The 103rd Anniversary Of The

Never heard of it, although I well knew such incidents occurred.

Back when I was in high school history (such as it was) the focus was really on white history; not I think because of any innate racial prejudice against black folks or Native Americans but because that was the way it was and no one was advocating at that time for better. And this was in the north, so there was no "negative" teaching against either group, just not much teaching at all.

I can only imagine teaching in the south.
