Yes, she's good. But who tweets both their offers and "interest"?
She's currently ranked at "only" 50 in the Class of 2024. Athena is no goddess! And does UConn really need a 5'5" point guard coming in the year after KK starts with Nika and Ines (and maybe Paige!) still here?

She might just be Princeton material because she's wise enough to omit the 3 stooges of Tennessee, Maryland and Notre Dame?

I have no idea.
Uconn doesn't seem opposed to picking up a point guard in this class though. They definitely offered Olson. They apparently offered another guard, Imari Berry (I don't know if she is a 1 or a 2).
Bueckers and Muhl could be gone by then too tbh. And even if they stayed, the incoming point guard would only have to sit for a season. And then they can battle it out with Arnold for pt. Edit: I forgot Ines here. Let's see what we have with her.

There are a lot of players in HS listed as pg's. Gabby Williams was a pg. I think it has to do with them being the best ball handler on the team and the team star and the coach wants them to have the ball in their hands the most. They come to college and learn the truth.

Olson is of an entirely different skill level, she's elite and able to play pretty much any guard position. Even though UConn 2023 guard group is loaded, they'd have found playing time for Olson the following year. It's Olson, I'd bet, who didn't want to have playing time "just" found for her. Plus there must have been something special about Michigan.... Berry's a 2 not a point and everyone wants her. She's going to be an important player. I'm not saying UConn didn't express interest or even offer Athena. Before offers are accepted, colleges need to cast their nets widely. But when it comes to interest in an American high school player UConn can track and systematically recruit, she's on the outer limits of skill and position need. I just don't think a player ought to tweet that schools are "interested" in her.

Makes me wonder - is the "interest" on her part (as in hoping for an offer) or the listed schools? And which ones HAVE offered (if any)? A little vague and self-hyping IMHO.

As for signing another elite pg, isn't that what a lot of fans are complaining about, that UConn should have had a second elite pg in case Bueckers got hurt? Of course, those people never think that an elite pg wants to play, instead of being an insurance policy.

I look at some of the other teams interested and it makes me think the interest is more on the player’s side. Because I don’t see the usual suspects that Uconn competes against for all the top players.
Bulkey, another guard I wanted to mention was Allie Ziebell. She seems to be another guard from this class that Uconn likes.

Kids may be collecting "facts" to add art to their instagrams. It's not a great idea, IMO.
