I don’t usually follow college baseball. But shout out to the UConn baseball team for beating Maryland. They now move on to the Super Regionals. Gets tougher from here, but Maryland was ranked #15 so not too shabby.

Which MD sport was this??? LOL

Last night UConn defeated #2 Stanford in the Stanford Super Regional 13-12. UConn scored 8 runs in the second inning. UConn is now one game away from a trip to Omaha and the College World Series.
GO HUSKIES!

Well, last night's game didn't go so well. And UConn's ace pitcher is suspended for UConn's next four games, apparently displeased with the ball and strike calls and making his feeling known compounded by frustration in giving up 8 runs in two innings. Stanford is the #2 ranked team in the country. Tonight will be a tough game - winner moves on to Omaha. Anything is possible, though. Yesterday Notre Dame brought down #1 Tennessee in a too bad only one program had to lose. Why can't UConn do the same?
