Am I the only nut who loves curling? A lot of people say it is about as exciting as watching paint dry. Perhaps on the surface. But there is a lot of strategy involved, angles to be played, and the stones must be thrown with precision in order to get them to travel at the right speed and curl at the right time.
And the Canadians treat it just like it is a real sport. (Weird Al Yankovic reference).
I find it fascinating and have watched more curling than anything else during these winter Olympics. Which has been very little, to be hones.

At work we are addicted to Curling. Every TV in our building has it on when we can find it. Now I have my husband interested, and during the Olympics, it's been on a lot. Love it not just for the reasons Chappy mentioned, but because the curlers are the most like regular people. Yes, they are fine athletes, but much more relatable in a lt of ways. The US team will come home and go back to their day jobs, playing on nights and weekends. And then go have some beers after practice. How great is that?
