Vandy up 26-8 against Rutgers at halftime. It pains me to pull for an SEC team, but you gotta do what you gotta do. Vandy playing a tough pressing defense and I'm really happy for Shea and Tom on how well they're coaching these Commodores!!! BTW.......Lady Vol Nation is gonna implode and they'll all be secretly wishing Shea / Tom were their coach instead of Kellie!!!!  Anything that irks Vol trolls makes me HAPPY!!!!! |

North Carolina should be blowing out VCU (expected to win by 20) but it's a one point game in 3rd quarter.

Rutgers scores almost half their point in the final quarter but far too little, far too late, and Vandy wins another one.

UCLA woke up in 3rd quarter to take lead, but Kent didn't wilt.
UCLA outscored Kent 20-9 in third to more than erase a 7 point deficit, but Kent outscoring UCLA 20-9 in 4th with about a minute to go

One of the writers from Awful Announcing.com wrote this morning bemoaning the fact that all these great women's games were being played this week and hardly anyone got to see them because they were streamed on Flo. He didn't bash Flo he said hey they paid for the right to carry the games. What he did say about Flo was the subscription deal left a lot to be desired. To say the least.

Took Arizona to the last shot. Rutgers has issues. They "might" be better if Vivian wasn't on a year long leave. Tim is not doing a good job, according to the Rutgers fans. Arizona - Rutgers tomorrow. Both my wife and I say - Go Cats!!! Sorry, and it would be harder if Vivian was there, but we love our Arizona Wildcats. |

Stanford will be a tough foe in March,as will Uconn. Superior coaching will have their teams ready for bear when the tourney is underway.

Anyone not Tennessee or South Carolina in the SEC does not draw my ire so much. They may have an inflated sense of their own conferences dominance, but I will root for Shea's team to do well. |

SEC is irrelevant. Pretty dispassionate really. We all woke up one morning and found our Shea headed off to Vandy. I knew zip about them before and had no interest in learning about them later. I wish Shea well but I will not root for Vandy. A tension there certainly, but one I can live with. |
