Not surprised. Considering her injuries and she sees who's on the team and who's coming in next year. This is what happens when you have 14 highly rated players on the roster. I'm sorry it didn't work out better for her, if true.

If true, she will be a very good addition somewhere, and may she make the best of it after having a tough go here with injuries and heights to climb through the depth chart. I had high hopes for her carving out a contributing role in a year or two. Hard for a player that talented to wait that long, I suppose. She has not dressed this year, so she would have her full four years of eligibility. ESPN has her with four stars at 30th in the class of 2021. A likely starter in all but a few programs. This brings up a question, could she be eligible immediately and play this season for someone? I have made it clear that I think no one should be allowed to play for more than one school/team in a single season, but I think that did happen in a couple of cases (at least) last (COVID-wacky) season. That said, Saylor hasn't played, or even dressed this season at all. I think that makes a big difference. Of course by the time she works out withdrawing and enrolling, and perhaps even finishing this semester out, much of the season would likely be gone. She may opt to have a full four years instead of the remaining time in this one and three more. Wishing her either a triumphant "return" from a published rumor, or success wherever she lands.

Very very sad. Best of luck to her though. I wonder if she'll think about Vanderbilt as it's closer to her home and she'll have a better chance of playing there!??

I am so sad by this. Somewhat understandable, but still disappointing. Good luck to you, Saylor. Wherever your end up, I wish you the best. (Just don't go to TN or Notre Dame or South Carolina...PLEASE?)

As the news sunk in I got sadder. She never got to show her best stuff. I hope she carries what she has learned into her new program and rises to the level of starter.

For Shea, I hope so. I hope so for Saylor as well! A very good school, excellent coaching staff and closer to home!!

Can't remember her finalists, but wasn't Princeton ... or was it Duke ... in there? She likely already has ideas, but I hope she takes her time and is happy with her decision

Nice, Bulkey. I remember this one. So, other schools were: "...talking to the coaches at Maryland, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Oregon." as well as a great connection to Shea. She may be behind another logjam at MD or Oregon. Too smart for TN (wink). Vandy may be a great landing spot. Just guessing, of course. I hope she cares not a whit for what we think and charts the best path for herself.

Strange time for her to announce this. Especially since she's been hurt. So, I'm guessing she already has a destination picked out, or she feels she can't compete for position in the rotation after this season. Can she transfer immediately, and play with a new team ? Certainly explains the unusual temperament on the bench yesterday .

Best of luck Saylor! We just have so much guard/wing depth and no one wants to wait 2 years to play anymore. Seems like a cool kid. We will always root for you.

This one seems a lot different from AEH, who left with some ruffled feathers.

This one seems a lot different from AEH, who left with some ruffled feathers. She was told to find the door for refusing to follow team guidelines.

And it still seems as though AEH is searching for stardom. It seems like she's been in college for like 10 years.

Of course she could now finally play with Wolfenbarger at Ark.

Lexi Gordon was in the same class and is also now a key player at Duke, her third school. Mikayla Coombs is still starting at Georgia, and is the student rep and vice chair of the SEC Women's Basketball Leadership Council. those three came in with Megan Walker.

I think COVID has given them extra years, right? That quartet would have graduated last year, right? Amazing saga. I remember when they came in they styled themselves as the Fab Four.

Interesting note via Alexa Philippou's Twitter feed, Saylor will NOT be eligible to play for her new team till the fall of 2022, had to be in the portal by July in order to transfer and play this season.
