Ft Hayes played well. Just too small. So it's hard to judge the post play. 33 assists on 48 baskets is a nice stat. Interesting to see Juhasz out beyond the perimeter on defense. It's hard to understand how a player as skilled and talented as she obviously is (and who was 1st team all B1G as a sophomore and a junior) has been ignored by the national wbb media for the last 2 years. I guess being a Euro with no AAU background you are an unknown, at least at a national level. She is going to be huge for UConn I think.  The best thing about this game is that it's the first. Arkansas will be a better test. |

ESPN doesn't look much past UConn and their 2 P-5 networks and no one else covers wbb on a national level. Juhasz averaged a double double but I guess 15/11 is only worth talking about if your name is Paris.  |

If Juhasz can perform like that against D1 opponents than ONO is going to lose a lot of minutes.

Dorka very impressive CD4 started slow, but her third basket was a highlight reel. right, Phil! These are 2 players who showed their value all over the court. Neither started, and yet it would be easy to see them both getting a lot of playing time in the future. |

Azzi and Caroline seemed to get more comfortable over time. Dorka, too.
Is Paige okay?

Azzi had an interesting game, similar to her U-19 performance. Couldn't miss, and then couldn't hit. She will appreciate that she made the right choice coming to UConn, because she'll be exposed to so many different game situations that she won't be able to think (especially about her last shot), just react. Carollne and Dorka were great, just great. They were all over the court doing great things. Caroline was nervous at first and missed everything, but she settled down and have fantastic moves around the hoop. Dorka was too energetic at first as well, and also settled down quickly. Both have really, really impressive floor games. |

Pleasantly surprised at how well the streaming feed from UConn went. Much better production values. Also surprised that Meg Culmo was doing the commentary. Didn't think we would see Meg until the SNY broadcasts.
