I popped over to VolNation at lunch. Seems those lunatics are already accusing Shea of some dirty recruiting tactics. Something about luring recruits to change high schools from New Jersey to Tennessee...I didn't spend enough time over there to look much further. As soon as I entered I felt the need to wash my hands...repeatedly. And use visine - to get the orange out.
Dang, I am fiesty today. Must be all the rain.

The last 6 are probably a crap shoot. No coach - even Geno - could turn Vanderbilt around in their first year. They were pretty awful. Once she gets the players she wants, I'm sure they will move up.
Unlike some schools, Vandy certainly has some history and believe that Shea should be able to get them into the middle of the pack (at least) by her 3rd or 4th year. Beyond that is, like the teams at the bottom, a bit of a crap shoot as well.

I'm not sure if any Vandi players left after last season but I would expect that there will be some after this season. Shea will first want to change the mindset. Besides, she has lots of contacts in the recruiting world and she is in the SEC at an academically prestigious school. (that doesn't sound right) She'll start opening eyes 2 years from now. There was a time that Vandi was a national power. I would warm my heart if they replaced Tenn as the top team in Tenn.
