No wonder 2 others have also been fired. Long, long ago I was somewhat tight with an extremely high ranking admin at Syracuse, and when I expressed my admiration for Jim Boeheim, he rolled his eyes and said something like "if you only knew...." Syracuse is an enabler of bad behavior.
Three players said they filed a complaint to SU’s compliance department in 2018-19 only to have the department inform Hillsman of the complaint and then confront the team, according to The Athletic.
“Compliance went straight to him and told him what the player said instead of investigating it themselves,” an anonymous former player told The Athletic. “It was the power dynamic where he would say like, ‘Y’all think you can go to them? They called me the second you told them.’”

And yet I see where the interim coach for 2021-22 is the Associate Head Coach currently.... that should fix the problem... Does anyone believe Chris Dailey would not notice if Geno did all this crap...? Bring in all new people and start over...!!

It is interesting...no, disgusting, that administrators charged with compliance duties chose to look the other way. No wonder the little martinet was so bold with his team tactics.

If the NCAA had guts (they don't), Syracuse should be banned from the NCAA women's tournament for several years. They should also lose scholarships for a stipulated period. I would hope the ACC will take some action.

I would hope the ACC will take some action. Great point. Where's the outrage? Sometimes a university can get ahead of its violations and propose its own punishment, and the NCAA has agreed to it. But here was systemic abuse (coach and compliance), no institutional evaluation of the abuse except to get rid of the apparent violators, and then crickets from the NCAA. There was no punishment of the institution, which is the essential component of the NCAA's oversight.

Also, Quentin Hillsman would be barred from coaching at any NCAA regulated program for x number of years depending upon what the investigation concludes??

I think it's hilarious that SU ditches that creep, Hillsmop and then promotes his right-hand man to take his place. Do they really think the culture is going to be cleaned up? It's pure, unadulterated bull-pucky. Maybe their conference will do something? Nah, why bother if the NCAA doesn't care.
