Some of you may remember my glee when Sr. Jean Dolores (then a sprightly 97) became a media sensation as the head cheerleader/chaplain for Loyola Chicago men's team at the Tournament a few years ago. Well, Sr. Jean (full disclosure, my love for her began WAY back in college when she was my Dean of Students at Mundelein College, now absorbed into Loyola) is going to the Big Dance. The NCAA finally did something that I can applaud - they are allowing her to travel with the team and attend the games. They are an 8 seed, and play on Friday. I will be tuning in to see her smiling face! Loyola made a big and unexpected run the last time. Fingers crossed for a repeat! bleacherreport.com/articles/2936508-sister-jean-cleared-to-travel-to-loyola-chicagos-1st-round-ncaa-tournament-game?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=editorialI am bouncing with joy for her! PS - I do in fact have her bobblehead doll on a bookcase at home, but I paid regular price for it!
