Yeah, but what makes me shudder are re-watching those times when UConn's opponents were lucky. I do watch the second half and as for the end of regulation I see it as evidence of the superiority of shooting over physicality. That ending reminds me of a hundred Vol games where the end of game play was for someone to throw the ball up off the rim and then have a mosh pit battle to tip the ball in. No screens. No passes. Just brute force. Well that's what Haley chose to do and not only did they miss every attempt but no fouls were called. I remember the clockwork orange game. Tenn threw up a shot with 3 seconds left and in that 3 seconds they were able to get off 3 shots and 4 offensive boards before a foul was called a couple of seconds after the game should have ended. Can you sense my contempt for that kind of play? It's a style that attracts friend and families to games for the most part. And I honestly believe that had the game been at S Car. a foul would have been called. I remember worrying one might be called. Was there a foul that wasn't called? In a battle under the glass with a couple seconds left? Probably several on both teams. The key is whether a ref blows a whistle.

Clearly, either team could have come out on top and neither played their A game. We learned very little about which team was better in that game, other than perhaps the two teams were closely matched. I think UCONN has improved since that game. Not sure SCar can say the same. You think Uconn improved based on beating who? S.Carolina plays in a real Conference... You cannot denied that the AAC and Big East is way weaker than PAC-12 and SEC.. Nope, can't deny that top to bottom the AAC and Big East is way weaker. However, UConn has always played in conferences outside of the "power" conference. Yet, despite this, they have managed to win 11 - yes ELEVEN national championships. Improvement is based on how the team plays together, and the individual player development. Not who they beat. Improvement doesn't have to be judged based only on who they beat. In your four posts to date, you seem to have an anti-Uconn bias. I assume you are a fan of one of those power conference teams and have come here to stir the pot. You are welcome to post here. However, unlike some other boards, we do not protect or defend fans from other teams. We are free from the need to get as many clicks as possible - we are not here for the money. We may be small, but we are about UConn first, last, and always. And if enough folks complain about your posting style, and you are only here to post negative things about UConn...your stay here will be short.

So UConn has 11 NCAA Championships and the entire DOMINANT SEC has 10........that's not so dominant??
