I thought about someone who will break into that list. Paige. She not only has a high minutes per game at 36, but that's especially high for a freshman. Then I thought, wait I'm missing something maybe not. Then I realized that this year will have fewer games, perhaps 10 fewer, then typical years, social have a very high minutes per game but may not have a record-breaking total number of minutes for a season. Then I decided, oh I missing something else so definitely will make it. And poised to take over first place in such a way that it will never be surpassed. Then I realize this year is special, with all participants getting a possible extra year. If Paige keeps up at this rate, we (hopefully) will never have a re-occurrence where players can get five years of experience, so her total may be an unbeatable record. Then I thought, oh wait a minute maybe not. Then I realized she so good that even though she may be eligible for a fifth year, she may be anxious to move on to a pro career, so may only stay for years even though she could stay for five. Then I thought oh wait maybe. Then I thought, yes she will be eligible for the WNBA, but she'll have a chance to create some records that will never be broken and that might be enticing.Just to say that despite the Covid free pass, Paige is eligible for the draft after her junior year (the 3rd year she plays), when she'll be 21. And she should go. She is already a WNBA all-star. So, she won't have 4, much less 5, years here.

1000 rebounds and not an AA/Husky of Honor: Jamelle Elliot. She should have been an AA, and HOH.

1000 rebounds and not an AA/Husky of Honor: Jamelle Elliot. She should have been an AA, and HOH. Two stories always come to mind about Jamelle. One, when she was a student, and somebody - Berube, maybe? - was kicked out of practice by Geno for not doing something, and, as she left she said "tell Jamelle I'm sorry". NOT GENO, or CD - "tell Jamelle I'm sorry". And, the other, when Jamelle was an assistant, and Geno was losing his mind about some officiating call, and thinking about charging the ref "I knew I could get past Tonya, she's small. And, I knew I could get past CD, she's skinny. But, I knew I couldn't get past Jamelle..."

"But, I knew I couldn't get past Jamelle..." OMG, so true. And I love it. Just love Jamelle, too. She's the toughest marshmallow there ever was. I hope she NEVER leaves UCONN again.
