The rumor this morning is that Edwards has withdrawn her name from the draft and will be using her 5th year at Storrs. This is UNCONFIRMED by any reliable sources as of 9:30am eastern. I would find Aaliyah changing her mind and returning to be shocking. Why would she do that ? It's not true. Someone tweeted this and then admitted that she tweeted it just to cause a stir. Is it even legal to try to regain eligibility after declaring for the draft?

Forget her videos (and hype), look at her actual statistics compared to Shade's.
Statistic | Fudd
| Shade | Games | 40 | 38 | Minutes/game | 28 | 31 | Points | 520 | 419 | Points/game | 13 | 11 | Points/minute
| 0.5
| 0.4
| FG/3FG/FT%
| 44/38/90 | 48/36/91 | A/TO | 1.1 | 1.4 | Rebounds/game | 2.5 | 3.1 |
Considering that Azzi might also not be ready at the start of this season, plus it's her senior year, and you have to treat her and Aubrey as one-and-dones that might (or might not) really help. Shade on the other hand seems to be durable, a physical specimen in the gym, a star on the rise, and the best part, here for 3 more seasons over which she will continue to get better. This is actually why video really does matter. Ashlynn played with Paige and was the 3rd or 4th option. There were at a lot of games especially at the end of the season when she camped out on the right corner alone and waving for the ball. Teams left her alone, figuring that they'd let her try to beat them. I'm an Ashlynn fanboy so I won't comment extensively on her declining efficacy at the end of the season. Azzi carried the team, especially with Lou increasingly hurt. She was doubled a lot. If Ashlynn is on the floor the other team can defend her or see if she can beat them. When Azzi's on the floor, as I said at the beginning of my post, she requires at least one defender, cause she can (and has) hit 7 3s in a row. Putting Azzi on the floor with Paige pretty much stretches perimeter defense to the breaking point. Just my 2 cents. Up until last two weekends , where for some unknown reason Ashlynn lost her aggressivenes Ashlynn has just been way more agressive trying to score in games. Again , just my observation. I have always thought Azzi has been so worried about her knee that she has carried it like a ball and chain. I remember a comment made by CD last fall. They all love each other, but they need to be tougher, and whether that happens remains to be seen. I love all of the Husky players as people. The question still remains. I'd like to see confident agression as we've seen with men's team. People will say that there were too many injuries to judge. But, I am still dissapointed by Paige's lack of desire to take the game over with Marshall guarding her most of the game ala Newton. Not Paige's first FF.

Is it even legal to try to regain eligibility after declaring for the draft? As long as an agent has not been retained, they have not lost any remaining eligibility.

Speaking of agents, Nika has one now, and they just tweeted her Happy Birthday wishes. Saw it on Carl Adamec's twitter.
