Hmmm, my Men's bracket is doing better than my Women's bracket. Me too. I love being in 2nd place on TOB. They couldn't ban me from entering and every time a Yarder checks how they are doing they see Doggydaddy sitting there only 10 points behind the first place bracket. Chappie's chalk brackets is winning. There goes the parity theory in WCBB. Pretty sure I told you this last year and for the same reason. After Citizen Kane, William Randolph Hearst swore that Orson Wells's name would never appear again in the San Francisco Examiner. But during WW II, Hearst promised to print the names of every local who bought war bonds. So Wells bought a bond, and Hearst was obliged to print his name. DD, you are Nan's Orson Wells.

That surprises me though because there have been some upsets, right? Sort of One upset in the first round by Middle Tennessee over Louisville a legitimate upset In the second round, Colorado over K state, a legitimate upset but a five over a 4 for so not exactly a big upset Also in the second round Baylor over Virginia Tech again only a five over four and if you knew that Gidley wasn't playing for Virginia Tech that's hardly an upset. In fact it's closer than one might've guessed. Duke over Ohio State as a legitimate upset. Overall, four upsets but only two legitimate upsets, and 2games where the 5 beat the 4 one of whom was missing a key player.

When Maya was playing, there were three teams with a chance for an NC. This year? There is SCar, then a group of proabably a dozen with a legit shot going into the tourney. More top teams lost to unranked teams this season than I can remember happening before. AP #2 was practically cursed.

Wow … every game in the Elite 8 is a 1 seed vs a 3 seed. I got 7 of the 8 right (The sinister, sequin-clad Bayou Barbies wrecked it 😜)

Something about this thread has been bothering me. Today I realized what it was. In the thread title I spelled Territory wrong. It was spelled Terriroty. Nobody mentioned it! What kind of teammates are you, anyway? You have let me down. No assist for any of you!

Now I realize no one got the joke.

Oooh semper, I like “The Terrirots”!😁👍 'Terrirots' is so obviously an anagram of 'terrorist,' that, on the principle of "If you see something, say something," I'm afraid I have to report everyone on this board to the Dept of Homeland Obscurity.

Please do. Work and home is such a nightmare right now a little time in a Federal lockup, and perhaps some water boarding, would be a welcome relief.

It's a good thing I don't actually gamble, because I really suck at picking games. (men or women's)

Not sure who the #1 person in the group is, and if they don't want to reveal themselves here, that is fine.
But I am proud to say that my bracket for "Chalk" came in second place! Yay me!!! I would have preferred for a few more upsets in the earlier rounds, but that was not to be this year.
UConn is loaded next year assuming all the injured recover and the newbies come in and make a splash. This was a special year with all the injuries and how those who could play rallied time and time again to overcome the challenges. Next year could be special for a different reason, with so much talent and depth. Depth? What is that? I can't remember when we had a full compliment of available players to be considered "deep". We can only imagine how this year would have turned out "if only".
Look out WCBB. 2024-2025 may be "The Year of the Huskies".
